At Parsonage, we follow the White Rose Maths scheme, which builds children’s confidence and fluency in maths step by step. Lessons are carefully structured so that children not only learn how to solve problems, but also understand the ‘why’ behind the methods. This approach helps pupils to develop strong number skills, logical thinking and a positive attitude towards maths.
Through White Rose, children revisit and build on key concepts regularly, ensuring secure foundations before moving on. We encourage the use of practical resources, visual models, and
problem-solving activities so that maths feels meaningful and accessible to all learners.
